1. L’Éternel a de la bonté,
Oui pour l’âme qui Le cherche.
Il est bon d’attendre en silence
Le secours de l’Éternel.
Recommande’ ton sort au Seigneur,
Mets en Lui ta confiance,
Il agira et fera paraître
Com’ la lumière’ ta justice.
C’est l’Éternel qui
est Dieu,
Il est Dieu à jamais. (x3)

2. Certes, bien des êtres célestes
Ou terrestres sont appelés
Dieux, de sorte qu’il existe
Réellement plusieurs dieux.

Il n’y a qu’un seul Dieu: Le Père,
De qui viennent toutes choses,
Oui et pour qui nous sommes.
